Our Ministries

Children are a vital part of our community at RBCC UCC. Children bring a fresh sense of awe and wonder, disruption and creativity, love and caring into our midst — and we celebrate that!  Jesus welcomed the children, invited them into relationship and blessed them.

RBCC UCC Children, Youth and Family Ministry intentionally creates an environment that embraces our belovedness, seeks and listens for our still speaking God, and fosters faith formation at all ages.

Children's Faith Formation

We hope to create opportunities for children to explore meaning and mystery in the Bible, engage in ministries of love and justice; and grow in an inclusive community of faith led and shaped by the Holy Spirit.

This begins with our Children’s Message during worship, when the children are invited come forward to hear and discover more about God’s active presence in our lives. After the Children’s Message, all children preschool through High School are invited to join age appropriate Faith Formation groups/classes.

Curriculum / JL Creative Sunday School Curriculum

JL Creative's goal is to provide progressive Christian curriculum that facilitates spiritual growth, leads to biblical literacy, and encourages curiosity.  The curriculum strives to be biblically responsible, intellectually honest, social justice oriented, and spiritually nurturing; with the hope to promote ecumenical and interfaith engagement, smash the patriarchy, and affirm that we are all made in the image of God.
