Children are a vital part of our community at RBCC UCC. Children bring a fresh sense of awe and wonder, disruption and creativity, love and caring into our midst — and we celebrate that! Jesus welcomed the children, invited them into relationship and blessed them.
RBCC UCC Children, Youth and Family Ministry intentionally creates an environment that embraces our belovedness, seeks and listens for our still speaking God, and fosters faith formation at all ages.
Children's Faith Formation
We hope to create opportunities for children to explore meaning and mystery in the Bible, engage in ministries of love and justice; and grow in an inclusive community of faith led and shaped by the Holy Spirit.
This begins with our Children’s Message during worship, when the children are invited come forward to hear and discover more about God’s active presence in our lives. After the Children’s Message, all children preschool through High School are invited to join age appropriate Faith Formation groups/classes.
DEEP BLUE SUNDAY MORNINGS! A One Room Faith Formation Gathering!
Grade School kids of all ages are invited to gather Sunday mornings at 10:00am for an exciting new faith formation time. DEEP BLUE is a curriculum that focuses on one scripture story for 7 weeks. Each week the story is experienced in a new way.
Story Telling, Spiritual Practices, Science, Cooking, Serving Others, Games, and Art!! Upcoming Themes include: Jesus is Baptized and Jesus Calls Helpers.
There is something to engage every child's interests and abilities! Come connect, experience, and grow in faith and spirituality.
Come join us as we discover together our place in God's story as part of a nurturing and loving community no matter what our age or where we are on our faith journey:

- After the Children’s Message:
