The Perfect Gift

If you are looking for the perfect gift for a graduating senior or for a special teacher who has loved your child through another school year, consider purchasing a personalized gift certificate from the RBCC feeding program for children in South Africa. This lunch program helps provide funding for three schools outside Port Elizabeth, South Africa. The children in this impoverished area have shown marked improvement in their ability to learn since this program started ten years ago. The certificates are sold in increments of $10, each $10 providing lunch for one month for one child. $120 buys a child lunch for a year! Lee Craig will be selling certificates on May 20th during coffee hour. There are also certificates that can be used as thank you cards and for birthdays. Thank you for providing support that will change the life of a child for the better.

Sandwich Sunday, May 20th

This is YOUR opportunity to help our friends at Family and Adult Service Center in downtown Seattle. Bread will be provided, but we need lots of fillings - such as peanut butter and jelly, packages or sliced meats and cheeses. Please have homemade fillings already prepared. There are several jumbo size cans of tuna and gallon jars of mayonnaise that can be picked up ahead of time to make at home with extra goodies added. The Outreach Board is counting on you to provide fellowship as we make sandwiches together during coffee hour.
