Richmond Beach Congregational United Church of Christ
A Christian Community with an open, inclusive, and progressive point of view.
Celebrating our diversity in race, culture, abilities, sexual orientation, gender identity, expression, and religious belief.
Love and Acceptance! (no fine print!)
The RBCC NextGen Group (Ages 16 - 29) gathers Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. over coffee for morning spiritual exploration, justice learning and community involvement opportunities. We also enjoy fun social gatherings and opportunities to be of service to our neighbors. One of the greatest ways we have to connect with God and show our love for others is by the way we love, respect and serve people. Our goal is to help the NextGen live out their faith by the way they care for themselves, for others, and for the world the live in. Whether it is through a discussion, game night, time spent serving our local community, or being accomplices for social justice… we believe in being the hands, feet, and heart of love in the world. God is love.
At RBCC UCC we welcome and covenant with lesbian, gay, bisexual, non-binary, and transgender youth! We are all seekers together. We live out this commitment by speaking and acting out as partners and allies to the concerns of LGBTQIA+ people; advocating in our wider community for safe, inclusive spaces for all to grow in love, justice, and spirit. Join us.

Faith Formation for Everyone!
Richmond Beach Congregational Church supports and encourages the social, emotional and spiritual growth of children, youth and families. We honor the lens of our Christian tradition while honoring and learning from the worlds many faiths.
We welcome all ages in worship. We also support children with age appropriate faith formation questioning, discussion and activities during our 10:00 a.m. worship hour.
We use inclusive language and gender fluid pronouns when sharing in conversations and scriptures about God.
We take the bible seriously but not literally as we seek to engage with the ancient stories passed down from our spiritual ancestors who were seekers just like us.
Jesus is recognized as the radical speaking, wisdom teaching, justice leading example he became known for.
Faith Formation is approachable for all ages, stages, abilities and learning styles. Quiet and thoughtful, artistic and tactile, verbal and non-verbal, active and energetic, able bodied and differently abled, neuro-typical and neuro-diverse. There is no one "right" way of thinking, learning, behaving or experiencing God. We embrace all opportunities for Inter-generational learning and connections.
