Outreach
We provide for and sustain the influence of the church in the community, helping the needs of all people in distress, and communicating our church's involvement in Christian service to the congregation. We establish priorities for benevolent giving and outreach support, and coordinate opportunities for congregation and community members to express our guiding principles of peace, justice, and respect in action.
Community Care & Engagement
We are responsible for hospitality and welcome, including the development of social activities and opportunities for congregation members to connect on a deeper level. We also coordinate and oversee opportunities for community members to engage with the church through publicly accessible programs and presentations.
Worship and Fine Arts
We work actively with staff to plan for and conduct worship services of all types (in-person, pre-recorded or live-streamed). We advise regarding content and style, and work to coordinate inclusion of music, dance, visual arts, and drama to support a well-rounded and impactful service. Finance Board
We oversee the financial planning of the annual church budget working closely with the Council, Boards, Committees, and Stewardship. We review all the financial account statements monthly and provide operating reports to the Council. We also inform members of our financial status at our scheduled congregational meetings during the year. The main focus is to promote good stewardship of our resources throughout the year.
Trustees
We are responsible for the physical space in which we meet. Trustees take care and custody of all church properties, monitoring and maintaining the physical condition of the church and grounds. In addition, we’re responsible for overseeing the business of the church as authorized by our Bylaws and Articles of Incorporation.
